I (badly) put together this collection of clips from our belated engagement/pre-leaving Yorkshire party, which we celebrated with all our friends and family. I wanted everybody to feel free to perform, and am very lucky to have had so many talented volunteers...

Cigar Guitar

A birthday gift for Jonny, which was a home-made 3-string electric 'Cigar Guitar'. Made using a cigar box as the body and fully hand crafted by the very talented Chris Searle...

A River Tale

A song I wrote and performed for a 3 minute presentation about an event in my life. I chose to tell my story of finding a conspicuous item whilst taking photographs along the river in Carlisle, and the fear I felt during it. Afterwards, I did laugh at my naive actions...

The photographs do not necessarily match the lyrics but are the photographs I took at the time of said event, for my traditional photography module.

Hannah the Town Planner

A little song I wrote for my friend, Hannah, who asked me to sing about her studying to become a town planner...

I LOVE ALDI !!!

A short video I made for a competition to win some Aldi vouchers.. We were asked simply to create a video telling them which of Aldi's products we liked best, and I absolutely love their peanut butter.

For my bestest friend Claire's birthday, I decided to write her a song and animate it in a creepy, yet humorous way. (I'd just like to point out that those, sadly, are not my legs...)

..and here was her 'jungle theme' cake; baked by the lovely Jenny Cox and decorated by myself.

Project Brief 5_Summative

The latest brief was to create a piece of design that would evaluate our projects from the past term. I decided to create a piece of moving image using stop-motion and edited in After Effects. There are a lot of issues with it, but on the whole I am pleased with how it turned out. I have found a new love for moving image, and can see it becoming something which I revisit often :)
